Dark Wizard is a range Magic class that is very mobile thanks to Teleport ability and has a high AOE damage.
Stat Priority:
1. Energy - Main source of damage
2. Agility - Main source of Speed and Armor
3. Vitality - Increase Health
4. Strength - Increase Buff effect and Elemental Damage
General Tips:
- Your highest hiting ability is Meteor Strike
- Your best AoE ability is Meteor Storm
After 5th Quest your best skill for AOE Damage is Meteor Storm of Gale
After 5th Quest your best skill for Single Damage is still Meteor Strike but also Meteor Storm of Gale
- You should always upgrade your weapon first as it gives you % damage increase
- Dark wizard gain a lot of extra damage by completing 3rd and 4th quest.
That is why you should complete quests as soon as possible, because Majestic Version of your chosen skill can deal even 50% more damage.
- When looking for spots, check your damage on different monsters as some have low magic/physical resistance and that will help you deal more damage. We did this on purpose on ParagonMu so that players not only look for spots but also check where is the best monsters for them.
Buffs:
- Expansion of Wizardy - Increase damage
- Soul Barier - Magic shield that absorbs damage
PvP Tips
- You should use "Teleport" skill to run away when your SD is very low - you can use potions while doing it.
Then attack your target to gain it back. (if the proper talents are chosen in the skill tree)
- Try using lightning skill to push back your oponent when you have troubles running away.
- Meteor Strike will be the best skill in 1v1 scenario.
